Sender name (SMS nick)

An SMS nick is a sender name instead of a number: the recipient sees your company name. Until a nick is connected, messages come from the number 4546.

How to apply

1. Profile → Additional services → SMS nick.
2. Enter the desired nick, your line of business and a link to information about your organisation.
3. Attach your organisation’s certificate or licence — PDF, JPG or PNG up to 5 MB.
4. Choose the operators the nick should be agreed with.
5. Click Pay and submit. The price for the chosen operators is deducted from your balance immediately.

Nick requirements

• Latin letters, digits and the characters . _ -
• 3 to 11 characters;
• the nick must match your company or brand name.

Timing and payment

• An application takes 1–1.5 months: each operator checks that the nick is free.
• The nick is agreed with each operator separately. An operator may approve it in its own spelling, e.g. CLICK or CLICK_ — messages to its subscribers go out under that name.
• If an operator refuses, the money for that operator is returned to your balance.
• Payment covers 30 days from connection. With the Auto-renewal box ticked, the nick renews itself; without it, it is switched off when the term ends.
• Perfectum does not support sender names.
