Reports and statuses
Message statuses and refunds
The status of every message is shown in Details.
- Queued — the message has been accepted and is waiting to be passed to the operator.
- Sent — passed to the operator, no delivery report yet.
- Waiting for operator report — no report for more than 10 minutes. Usually the phone is off or out of coverage; the operator keeps trying to deliver for 24 hours.
- Delivered — the message reached the phone.
- Not delivered — the operator reported that delivery failed.
- UNDELIV — the operator did not send a final status. The message is treated as not delivered.
- Rejected — the operator did not accept the message for sending.
- Awaiting confirmation — cascade delivery only: we are waiting for the push notification to be confirmed. If no confirmation arrives in time, a backup SMS is sent automatically.
When money is refunded
Under the mobile operators’ rules, money is returned to your balance only for the “Rejected” status. There is no refund for Sent, Waiting for operator report, Delivered, Not delivered and UNDELIV: the operator accepted the message and tried to deliver it.
Why an SMS was not delivered
Operators don’t report the reason. Most often:
- the phone is off or out of coverage;
- the number no longer exists or is blocked for debt;
- the phone’s memory is full;
- the number is on the operator’s blocklist;
- the message landed in spam on the phone;
- an Uzmobile subscriber has a negative balance — such subscribers don’t receive SMS.
